There is a supermarket on Ogunu Camp for provisions.

Fish and Prawns : Available locally – there are regular traders who call on camp.
Fruit, Vegetable and Eggs: Available locally – there are regular traders who call on camp.
Meat and Poultry: Available locally – there are regular traders who call on camp.

There are a few supermarkets in Warri town such as Esco and Bestway, and a selection of shops.

Banks and Money Exchange


There is a branch of the First Nigeria Bank at the Main Office (Ground Floor, D Block). You will be issued with a cheque book to allow access to your money. However, this may take some time, but in the interim you are given an advance on your salary to keep you going. You could consider bringing some UK Sterling/US Dollars to help you through this initial period.

Go inside a stall and search for what you want and then bargain for what you think is a fair price.

There are various food markets in Warri. Other markets include:

Ibo Market – ready-made clothes and trouser materials. Bed linen, shoes and handbags

Igbudu Market – ready-made garments and several tailors. Some fruit and vegetables are sold along the road. A wide variety of materials for clothes and furnishings, household goods and haberdashery available. There is an open market area for fruit and vegetables and livestock.
