About Outpost Assen
The Outpost office in Assen is one of over 60 Outposts around the world. It is part of Global Outpost Services, in The Hague.
The organisation has been established by Shell to offer support, complementary to Shell terms and conditions, to employees, their partners and families with the challenges of global mobility. The Outpost office offers a friendly environment where you can come for information and advice on relocation and for the partner wishing to develop their career in preparation for a new posting or repatriation overseas.
Outpost Assen is the Information Centre for the northern part of The Netherlands.
Services offered by Outpost Assen include, among others:

Production and updating of an Inside guide (survival guide) for the Northern Netherlands

Production of a bi -monthly Newsletter for the expat and local community in Northern Netherlands.

Production and updating of a Kids’ Entertainment guide.

Running a resource center for expats and repats: books, magazines, DVD' s, CD ROM's, video's and photo albums on Shell locations around the world, as well as general literature.
